Durability in unfavourable weather conditions
Rooftile was tested in the laboratory under the supervizion of the University of Miami. The results show that Rooftile resists in wind loads up to 10 kPa.
Unique advantages of Rooftile
Specific pressing procedure
Due to the modern forming machinery of KAMARIDIS SA, the specific procedure of Rooftile manufacturing results in the maintenance of the metal durability.
Variations of tile length
The standard tile length is 330 mm.
Curved shape
Due to its elasticity, Rooftile, in the form of short tiles, can be installed on curved roof carriers.
Long sheets
The recommended maximum sheet length is 6 m. Rooftile is manufactured in customised longer sheets, which are only limited by the installation and transportation capability.
Low weight – high strength
Rooftile weighs only 1/10 of the corresponding ceramic tile weight. The material strength ensures full roof load capacity, without any deflections.
Application in low pitch roofs
Rooftile is the only product in the form of tile, which can be used for two-sided and multiple-sided roofs with a minimum pitch of 7.5%.
Water tightness
The special sheet forming and the double profile overlapping make Rooftile completely watertight against any water inflow.
