Description
(Thermal insulating polyurethane sheeting PUR panels)
The thermal insulating Insotherm RPU PUR and Insotherm DPU PUR panels of KAMARIDIS GLOBAL WIRE SA are complex, selfsupporting structural elements, especially designed for building roofing in particular.
The Insotherm RPU PUR panels consist of two formed metal sheets and internal coating of self-extinguishing polyurethane resin.
The external metal sheet of the panels is trapezoidal (Ribdeck 1000), with five trapezoids 40mm-high at axial distances of 250mm.The internal metal sheet of the panels is slightly formed with corrugations 50mm-wide and 1.5mmdeep at distances of 50mm. These panels as recommended for use on roofs with pitches greater than 7%. For pitches lower than 7% you should consult the technicians of our company.
The Insotherm DPU panels consist of one formed metal sheets, on the one side, and internal coating of self extinguishing polyurethane resin.
The metal sheet of the panels is trapezoidal (Ribdeck 1000), with five trapezoids 40mm-high at axial distances of 250mm. On the other side, there is an aluminum sheet or kraft paper or paper aluminum or reinforced plasticized paper or tarpaper. They can be mounted in two different ways according to the construction and the pitch of the roof.
- On roofs with pitches greater than 7% the panels are mounted with the metal sheet facing outwards.
- On roofs with pitches lower than 7%, such as flat roofs and rooftops, the panels are mounted with the metal sheet facing inwards, as inverted insulation.
The panels must be additionally sealed after mounting on site. The standardized panel metal sheets are formed from pre-painted galvanized steel in 0.40mm 0,45mm and 0.50mm-thick sheets.
The panels are manufactured with protective film, which must be removed immediately after mounting. The panels are delivered packed in pallets with special stretch film.
